Alexey Miller and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik review prospects for expanding cooperation
A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Milorad Dodik, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, took place today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019.
The parties reviewed the prospects for expanding their cooperation, including the possibility of supplying Bosnia and Herzegovina with Russian gas that will be delivered to Europe via the TurkStream gas pipeline.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019 is being held at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 6 to 8. This year's key topic is Creating a Sustainable Development Agenda.
In 2018, Gazprom delivered 245 million cubic meters of gas to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
TurkStream is the project for an export gas pipeline stretching across the Black Sea from Russia to Turkey and further to Turkey's border with neighboring countries. The first string of TurkStream is intended for Turkish consumers, while the second string will deliver gas to southern and southeastern Europe. Each string will have the throughput capacity of 15.75 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
