Gazprom and YPF address cooperation prospects in energy sector
A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee and Miguel Galuccio, Chief Executive Officer of Argentine National Petroleum Company YPF took place today within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2015.
The parties reviewed the current issues and prospects for enhancing the cooperation in the energy sector. The emphasis was placed on the joint actions in hydrocarbons exploration and production in Argentina and third countries within the Memorandum of Cooperation signed earlier this year.

In 2013 Gazprom won a tender for the supply of 15 LNG cargoes with a total volume of one million tons to Argentina between 2014 and 2015.
In April 2015 Gazprom and YPF inked a Memorandum of Cooperation in such areas as exploration, production and transmission of hydrocarbons in Argentina and third countries.
