Photo artist Danil Khusainov from Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg becomes laureate of Golden Turtle international photo contest
The Central House of Artists in Moscow hosts Golden Turtle – the VII Moscow International Festival of Wildlife. The event opens the Year of Environmental Protection in Russia.

The main part of the festival is the exhibition-contest of photographs about wildlife.
This year about three thousand authors from 59 countries sent their works to the contest. Gazprom employees also were among the competitors. One of them – Danil Khusainov (Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg) became a laureate in the Human and Nature category for a photo 'On the Forest-Tundra Open Spaces' by the decision of the international jury.

Besides, the exhibition displays many photographs of the Gazprom activities aimed at environmental protection. 2013 is declared the Year of Ecology in the Company.
The exhibition will last until February 17.

The Golden Turtle Moscow International Festival of Wildlife presents projects dedicated to the promotion of respect for nature. This year the festival is held under the patronage of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Natural Resources, Environmental Management and Ecology.
The Golden Turtle photo contest is one of the main events in Russia for photographers who shoot wildlife. The contest has been held since 2006. In 2010 it became international and today it is among the three largest photo contests of wildlife around the world.
