Cooperation proves fruitful for Gazprom and PricewaterhouseCoopers


The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting of Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee, Dannis Nally, Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers International and Richard Paterson, Global Energy, Utilities and Mining Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The meeting participants discussed progress with cooperation and stressed that the long-term partnership between Gazprom and PricewaterhouseCoopers proved fruitful.

In addition, the parties discussed options for providing the consulting services on taxation and, in this regard, stressed the importance of PricewaterhouseCoopers participation in establishing the consolidated group of taxpayers in Gazprom.

  • auditing consolidated financial statements of Gazprom Group filed under the International Financial Reporting Standards.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit also serves as the auditor for a range of prominent subsidiaries of Gazprom.

A consolidated group of taxpayers is a voluntary association of organizations paying profit taxes, aiming at calculating and paying profit taxes based upon the aggregate business transactions of the group members.
