In 2007 our business and economic partnership was added with a nice cultural project – the Arts Festival. I note with pleasure today that our Festival is a spectacular example of successful cooperation, friendship and respect to the original culture of different nations. The language of art, music and dance is understandable and familiar to everyone,” said Mikhail Sereda in his speech at the Festival opening ceremony.
“New opportunities are currently open up for the development of the Russian-Chinese partnership. Let’s keep our traditional friendship, deepen strategic interaction, join hands and make a maximum possible contribution to the economic progress of our countries,” said Guan Xiaohong.
The Festival recognized as one of the largest cultural exchange projects between Russia and China will be concluded with the joint concert of the Gazprom and CNPC talent groups on the stage of the Shanghai World EXPO 2010 participated by representatives of 192 countries.
Alongside the cooperation development in the energy industry, Gazprom and CNPC are interacting in the sphere of information, public relations, cultural and sponsorship projects implementation.
