Tomsk Polytechnic University
National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University was founded in 1896 and it is the oldest technical higher education institution in the Asian part of Russia. The University comprises 11 R&D and educational institutes and 99 departments.

Cooperation between Gazprom and Tomsk Polytechnic University is focused on training, retraining and career development among executives and professionals from the Company's structural units, PhD and Doctoral theses work on the subjects demanded by the gas industry, as well as on the scientific research. The University is one of the nine higher education institutions supported by the Company.
Gazprom's subsidiary Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk proactively collaborates with Tomsk Polytechnic University. There is a cooperation program; the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Engineering has introduced a gas industry oriented speciality.
