Gazprom Pererabotka has donated RUB 13 million to a number of hospitals based in the regions of the company’s activities.
In St. Petersburg, charitable assistance has been provided to two healthcare centers. The Mariinskaya City Hospital will acquire medical equipment worth RUB 4.5 million for the infectious diseases unit with an intensive care and resuscitation ward. The St. George City Hospital will obtain disinfectants with a total cost of RUB 1.6 million.
“Special-purpose medical devices are a great help in treating patients. Such devices allow us to monitor essential health indicators and promptly alert medical professionals about emergencies that require an immediate response in relation to critical patients at intensive care and resuscitation units. We asked Gazprom Pererabotka to provide our hospital with 12 sets of patient monitors and a central monitoring station. The company's management fulfilled our request and promptly signed a contract for the supply of necessary equipment,” said Oleg Emelyanov, Chief Doctor at the Mariinskaya City Hospital.
Around RUB 7 million was allocated to healthcare centers in other regions of the company’s activities. The Orenburg District Hospital, Orenburg Regional Clinical Hospital No. 2, the Lyantor City Hospital of the Surgutsky District, the Sosnogorsk Regional Central Hospital, and the Novy Urengoy Central City Hospital will use the funds to obtain consumables and personal protective equipment: respirators, safety glasses, and reusable suits for their medical personnel.
Drugs for treating community-acquired pneumonia will be procured for the Alexey Nichogi Regional Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital in the Astrakhan Region.
