All employees of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk to be tested for coronavirus
News from projects and regions
In late May, Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk began testing its employees based in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area for the coronavirus infection. This is yet another anti-epidemic measure meant to preserve the employees' health and to ensure operational safety and continuity.
The testing will continue until June 10. Only regional healthcare organizations with appropriate licenses are authorized to take samples. A number of tests will be done directly at workplaces: medical professionals are expected to undertake trips to distant facilities.

Previously, 250 people working at the Kamchatka fields were tested for the infection.
As for shift workers traveling between regions, they will have to adopt a special method of shift work, including a mandatory 14-day quarantine period at the places of temporary accommodation and double testing for coronavirus prior to starting their work.
“In this way, the company will ensure that 100 per cent of the employees are covered by testing,” said Igor Krutikov, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk. “Therefore, we will be able to control the epidemiological situation and avoid operational disruptions.”
