A dancing group entitled “Uzory” (“The Patterns”) from the Ivanovskoye Gas Pipeline Operation Center (a branch of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod) won first prize at the Sun Circle international talent competition, which took place on January 25–26 in the city of Vladimir.
The jury included associate professors and coaches from the Choreography Department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture, as well as choreographers of children's dance groups.
The dance team of Uzory comprising twelve girls aged 11–14 (coach Galina Tarasova) performed a piece entitled “National Circle Tromp Dance of Trans-Urals” and took first place in the competition. Lev Moiseev, Chairman of the primary trade union organization, was granted a commendation for supporting young talents, engaging youth in the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and ensuring the development of children's art and artistic and cultural values.
