On June 23, a cultural and educational event named Sunday in the Radishchev State Art Museum took place in Saratov. During the event organized by Gazprom Transgaz Saratov, over 1,200 residents and guests of the city of Saratov took the opportunity to visit one of the main points of interest in the region. The entrance to the museum's historic building was free of charge all day long. The charity event marked the 195th anniversary of the birth of Alexey Bogolyubov, professor of painting who founded the Radishchev State Art Museum.

Tours of both the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions were provided to the visitors. In particular, the guests were able to view the Splendor of Russian Priesthood exhibition project featuring the artifacts that had been brought from the State Museum of the History of Religion (St. Petersburg), the Pugachev Local History Museum named after Konstantin Zhuravlev, the Saratov Regional Museum of Local Lore, and the History Museum of the Saratov Metropolia.

The museum guides provided an overview of the history of the Radishchev State Art Museum's creation and, of course, showed to the visitors the masterpieces submitted to the museum by its founder Alexey Bogolyubov.
The young visitors of the museum were offered master classes on creating traditional Saratov clay toys, Venetian masks, and textile talisman dolls called 'kuvatka.' During the Baby Aquarelle in Search of Friends interactive tour, the children were able to learn about the museum and play at the same time.
Organizations working with children and socially disadvantaged people also took part in the action. For instance, the children from the institutions under the patronage of Gazprom Transgaz Saratov, as well as from Saratov Boarding school No. 3 for blind and visually impaired children and from the Vozvrashchenie social-and-rehabilitation center, introduced themselves to the works of Alexey Bogolyubov and tried their hands at creating masterpieces of their own in the Ships of Bogolyubov art studio.

Elena Galaktionova, Deputy Director of the Radishchev State Art Museum, highlighted the significance of an event in this format and expressed gratitude to Gazprom Transgaz Saratov for their support: “This action is a part of the museum's extensive program of events honoring the anniversary of the birth of its creator Alexey Bogolyubov. The 'open doors' event aims to remind the residents and guests of Saratov about the museum's history and to turn them on to art. It is important that such companies as Gazprom Transgaz Saratov pay attention to educational activities in their work.”
