Company history
In July 1964 the All-Union State Trust Soyuzgazkomplekt was established in the USSR to supply materials and equipment to gas and oil production facilities being built.
In December 1991 the Trust was reorganized into Gazkomplektimpex State Commercial and Industrial Company transformed into a Limited Liability Company in July 1999.
In February 2009 Gazkomplektimpex was renamed Gazprom komplektatsiya.
Gazprom komplektatsiya is a single-source provider for Gazprom’s subsidiaries. The company is tasked to ensure timely and complete procurement of high-quality materials and equipment to Gazprom and its subsidiaries.
Gazprom komplektatsiya supplies more than 80 per cent of the materials and equipment required by Gazprom Group, which is more than 150 thousand items, including:
gas production and drilling equipment, specialized machinery;
pipes and metalwork;
petrochemical equipment;
fuels and chemicals;
construction materials and equipment;
pipeline fittings and gas valves;
engineering products;
electric equipment and cables;
monitoring and metering devices, communications equipment;
gas pumping units and spare parts for them;
pumps and compressors.

Since 2006 Gazprom komplektatsiya has been authorized to implement Gazprom’s corporate standards for quality management systems (STO Gazprom series 9000) and to assess quality management systems of materials and equipment suppliers.
An automated registration system for the projects under construction was put into operation in 2009. This system allows for location-based accounting of the subsidiary companies’ needs for materials and equipment.
Gazprom komplektatsiya cooperates with various movements and organizations that help children, develop and promote sports, support education. Since 2006 the company has been participating in the Books as a Gift program of the Illustrated Books for Blind Children fund. The collected money goes for publication of special books in raised characters for blind and visually impaired children. These include fairy tales by Alexander Pushkin, Charles Perrault and Hans Christian Andersen; Russian folk tales; toy-books and illustrated poems by Eduard Uspensky.
As part of the Obrazovaniye national project Gazprom komplektatsiya backs the Gymnasium Union of Russia under the Domestic Education Assistance Fund, as well as the teachers and researchers support program worked out by the Society of Russian Language and Literature Teachers for the Russian language and literature popularization domestically and worldwide.
