Vladimir Babkin
Chairman of the Interregional Trade Union of Gazprom; Deputy Chairman of the Russian Oil, Gas and Construction Workers’ Union; Member of the General Council of the Russian Independent Trade Union Federation.
Vladimir Babkin was born on August 13, 1953 in the settlement of Borovoye, Tyumen Oblast. He graduated from the Tyumen Industrial Institute in 1975 majoring in Technology and Integrated Mechanization of Oil and Gas Field Development (qualified as a mining engineer) and from the Tyumen Engineering and Construction Institute in 1990 getting specialty in Economics and Construction Management (qualified as an economist). Vladimir Babkin holds a Doctorate degree in Sociology. He is Academician and Presidium Member of the Russian Federation Academy of Technological Sciences.
Vladimir Babkin worked in northern Tyumen at the Nadymgazprom Production Association under the USSR Gas Industry Ministry as an operator, shift engineer, deputy head of gas production facility No.3, deputy head of a production and dispatch service, chairman of a local trade union committee of the Gas Production Directorate, and deputy head for personnel and utilities of the Medvezhinskoye Gas Production Directorate.
In May 1983 he was elected Chairman of the Trade Union Committee at Nadymgazprom, in December 1989 – Secretary of the Tyumen Oblast Trade Union Council, later on – Deputy Chairman and in 1992 – Chairman of the Council. Since January 1995 he was Assistant to Director General at Nadymgazprom. In February 2000 he became Chairman of the Gazprom Interregional Trade Union being a part of the Russian Oil, Gas and Construction Workers’ Union.
Vladimir Babkin has been awarded the Medal for Labor Merit, and the Medal of the Order for Services to the Fatherland, II Class.
Vladimir Babkin bears the title of the Honorary Worker of the Gas Industry. He has been rewarded with the following badges: Excellent Worker of the Gas Industry, Honorary Worker of the Fuel and Energy Complex, Honorary Worker of Gazprom, Labor Veteran of the Gas Industry, for Proactive Work in Trade Unions, for Proactive Work in the Russian Oil, Gas and Construction Workers’ Union (III Class); the silver badge of the All-Union Communist Party; the merit certificates by the Council of the Russian Oil, Gas and Construction Workers’ Union, the Russian Independent Trade Union Federation, Gazprom and the Russian Energy Ministry, as well as with the Russian Federation Government Diploma.
Yury Artemyev
Deputy Chairman of the Interregional Trade Union of Gazprom.
Yury Artemyev was born on April 28, 1955 in the city of Tobolsk, Tyumen Oblast.
He graduated from the Tyumen Industrial Institute in 1977 majoring in Technology and Integrated Mechanization of Oil and Gas Field Development, in 1995 – from the Academy of National Economy under the Russian Federation Government. In 1995 Yury Artemyev completed the Market Behavior of Enterprises program at the Higher School of International Business and the Field Facilities for Natural Gas and Condensate Liquids Production: Extraction, Gathering and Treatment program at the International Human Resources Development Corporation (USA).
Between 1977 and 1997 he was a gas production operator, gas production foreman, engineer, senior engineer at a field facility, senior dispatcher at a production and dispatch service, chief dispatcher – head of the dispatch service at the Nadymgazprom Production Association (subsequently renamed into Nadymgazprom of RAO Gazprom).
Between 1997 and 2000 he was Deputy Director for Operations at a Novgorod branch of Mezhregiongaz, Gazprom.
From 2000 to October 2004 Yury Artemyev took the position of Executive Secretary – Assistant to the Chairman of the Gazprom Interregional Trade Union.
Yury Artemyev has been granted the Honorary Worker of the Gas Industry title (1997).
Kirill Bogush
Deputy Chairman of the Interregional Trade Union of Gazprom.
Kirill Bogush was born on August 19, 1972 in the city of Sverdlovsk (present Yekaterinburg).
In 1992 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Higher Military-Political Tank-Artillery School, getting specialty in the Artillery Tactics, Pedagogy and Psychology; in 1995 – from the Urals University of Economics and Law, majoring in Law.
Kirill Bogush took the following educational courses: Specifics of Primary Trade Union Organizations in Context of New Labor Legislation at the International Economics, Science and Technology Center in Saint Petersburg (2002); Collective Bargaining Campaign and Trade Unions in Light of Russia’s New Labor Code at the Moscow Institute of Modern Business (2002); Today’s Prioritized Activity Areas for Trade Unions at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations (2002–2003); Russian Labor Code Practice at Gazprom’s R&D, Educational and Training Center of the Gas Industry (2006).
Between 1989 and 1992 he did his military service in the Russian Armed Forces (Military School).
From 1994 to 2000 Kirill Bogush took the positions of a legal adviser, legal adviser of the 2nd category, legal adviser of the 1st category and lead legal adviser at the Legal Department of Nadymgazprom.
Between 2000 and 2007 he was Deputy Chairman of the Nadymgazprom Trade Union.
