Happy Victory Day!
On May 5, 2011 the Gazprom headquarters hosted celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Sergey Khomyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee addressed the veterans with a congratulatory speech: “It is you who granted us the peaceful sky over our heads, the mere chance to live and shape the future of our country by ourselves. We have you to teach us courage, endurance, love and dedication to the Fatherland.” Sergey Khomyakov noted that Gazprom supported veterans of the Great Patriotic War and these efforts were an integral part of the Company’s activity.

There was arranged a concert in honor of the veterans. The audience could hear the wartime songs including “Let’s Sing, My Friends” by the choir of Gazprom’s pensioners.
