Sergey Khomyakov joins Presidential National Council for Professional Qualifications

Pursuant to the Russian President’s Decree No. 676 dated December 18, 2016, Sergey Khomyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, is now a member of the Presidential National Council for Professional Qualifications.

Background

The Presidential National Council for Professional Qualifications was established by the Russian President’s Decree No. 249 dated April 16, 2014, with the aim of creating and developing a national system of professional qualifications.

Gazprom and its subsidiaries actively participate in developing the national system of professional qualifications. In November 2016, the Company received an award from the Russian Energy Ministry for its contribution to the national system of qualifications in the oil and gas industry.

In line with the decision of the Presidential National Council for Professional Qualifications, Gazprom’s Center for Labor Planning and Utilization (a subsidiary of Gazprom) was designated as the Council for Professional Qualifications in the Oil and Gas Industry starting from 2016.
