May highlights

The Board of Directors resolved to convene the Annual General Shareholders Meeting on June 30, 2011.

The fundraising deal totaling EUR 1.1 billion was financially closed for the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil, gas and condensate field.

The Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi gas pipeline offshore and onshore sections were tied together.

Construction of the Haidach UGS facility, the largest in Austria and the second-largest in Central Europe, was completed.

The following documents were signed:

  • the Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in the telecommunications sector between Gaztelecom and Comita;
  • the Memorandum of Understanding on the gasification development and on the oil and gas processing facility creation on the Sakhalin Island between Gazprom and the Sakhalin Oblast;
  • the final investment decision on the Katharina UGS facility construction in Germany between Gazprom and Verbundnetz Gas;
  • the detailed action plan to implement the South Stream project in Serbia between Gazprom and the state-owned Srbijagas.
