February highlights

The Board of Directors resolved to convene the annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom on June 24, 2011 in Moscow.

Gazprom reported its consolidated interim condensed financial results under the International Financial Reporting Standards for the nine months ended September 30, 2010.

The Company signed:

  • the Farm-out Agreement for Libya's Elephant oil project Production Sharing Agreement with Eni;
  • the Cooperation Agreement for 2011 with Saint Petersburg;
  • the Cooperation Agreement for 2011–2013 with the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.

A Consortium between YUZHNIIGIPROGAZ and GASTEK BG was selected as the contractor to perform the feasibility study for South Stream construction in Bulgaria.

The second CBM-fired reciprocating-engine power station was commissioned in the Taldinskoye field, Kemerovo Oblast.

The Company completed construction of the Gryazovetskaya compressor station, a key facility of the Gryazovets gas transmission hub.

Russian, European and Ukrainian experts took part in the roundtable discussion “European Energy Sector Pressing Challenges”.

Severneftegazprom elected Stanislav Tsygankov as Director General.

Valery Gulev was appointed as Director General of Gazprom EP International B.V.
