December highlights

Gazprom signed:

• the addendum to the contract for natural gas transit across Uzbekistan in 2010 with Uztransgaz;
• the major terms and conditions for Uzbek gas supply in 2010 with Uzbekneftegaz;
• the contract for Uzbek gas purchase and sale for 2010 with Uztransgaz;
• the amendments and supplements to the long-term contract for Turkmen gas purchase and sale;
• the Memorandum of Understanding for the South Stream project execution with Eni;
• the Strategic Partnership Agreement with Petrovietnam;
• the Agreement on major terms and conditions for Russian gas supply to China with CNPC.

During the Russian-Polish intergovernmental consultations the parties coordinated the Protocol of Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement on Russian gas supply and transit of August 25, 1993, as well as the Protocol of Amendment to the Additional Protocol of February 12, 2003 of the 1993 Agreement.

Venice hosted the celebrations dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Russian natural gas supplies to Italy.

Gazprom approved the Company’s Concept for participation in the Russian Federation regions gasification as amended.

The Company singed the Contracts on Cooperation in 2010 with the Vologda Oblast and the city of Saint Petersburg, the Cooperation Agreement with the Samara Oblast, the Gasification Accord and the updated General Scheme for gas supply to and gasification of the Irkutsk Oblast.

The inter-settlement gas pipeline from the Osinovka GDS to the Gidrostroitel settlement (Bratsk) was commissioned.

A decision was made to transfer the rights to use the subsurface resources of the Novoportovskoye oil, gas and condensate field and the Eastern block of the Orenburg oil, gas and condensate field to Gazprom neft.

The General Collective Agreement of Gazprom and its subsidiaries for 2010–2012 was signed.

Gazprom awarded the winners of the 2009 Science and Technology Prizes.

Gazprom and Universal Pictures held a series of New Year charity events.
