Elena Vasilyeva was born on August 17, 1959 in the Kurgan Oblast.

Education

Elena Vasilyeva graduated from Voznesensky Leningrad Finance and Economics Institute.

Professional experience

1985–1999

Chief Accountant at the Housing Administration Department; Deputy Chief Accountant at the General Accounting Office of the Leningrad Sea Commercial Port; later on – Deputy Chief Accountant at the General Accounting Office of the of St. Petersburg Sea Port.

1999–2001

Chief Accountant of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS); subsequently, of the BPS branch – Upper Volga Oil Trunklines.

Since 2001

Deputy Chairwoman of the Management Committee, Chief Accountant, Member of the Management Committee of Gazprom.
