Alexander Kozlov was born on December 29, 1952 in Novomoskovsk, Tula Oblast.

Education

Alexander Kozlov graduated from Moscow State Institute for International Relations under the USSR Foreign Affairs Ministry majoring in International Economic Relations, and from the State Procurement Institute at the Higher School of Economics (State University).

Active State Advisor of the Russian Federation, Class I (qualification degree).

Professional experience

1970–1975

Student at Moscow State Institute for International Relations under the USSR Foreign Affairs Ministry.

2000–2004

Deputy Head of the Administrative Board of the Russian Federation President.

2001–2002

Deputy Head of the Staff and Social Development Directorate, Gazprom.

Head of the Main Directorate for Procurement and Transportation at the Administrative Board of the Russian Federation President.

Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee, Member of the Management Committee of Gazprom.
