Before entering the University Mr. Yaroslav Golko worked at Mine № 3 VZH of the Lvov-Volynsk Coal Basin.

1981–1986, student of the Plekhanov Leningrad Mining University, simultaneously worked in various companies in the Leningrad city.

1986–1989, UNR-308 Spetstonnelstroy, Leningrad.

1989–1990, Deputy Chairman, Construction Cooperative 'Vertical'.

1990–2003, Deputy Director for Construction; Director; Director General, small state company ZAO Stiks.

Since 2003 – Director General, OOO Gaztaged.

2003–2005, Deputy Head of the Directorate of Accounting, Analysis and Corporate Policy, Asset Management and Corporate Relations Department, Gazprom.

2005–2006, First Deputy Head, Investment & Construction Department, Gazprom.
