Alexander Ananenkov

Alexander Ananenkov was born in Sterlitamak, Bashkir ASSR on May 13, 1952.

Alexander Ananenkov graduated from the Ufa Petroleum Institute and the Academy of National Economy under the Council of Ministers of the USSR.

Alexander Ananenkov has been employed in the gas industry since 1969.

1989–1994

Deputy Director General at the Yamburg Gas Production Directorate of the Urengoygazprom Production Association (present Gazprom dobycha Urengoy).

1994–1997

First Deputy Director General, Chief Engineer at the Urengoygazprom Production Association.

1997–2001

Director General of Yamburggazdobycha (present Gazprom dobycha Yamburg).

Since 2001

Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom.

Since 2002

Member of the Gazprom Board of Directors, Deputy Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee.

Since 2004
