PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS AUDIT APPROVED AS GAZPROM’S AUDITOR FOR 2007

PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit has been approved by the annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom as the Company’s auditor for 2007. PricewaterhouseCoopers was declared the winner of an open competitive procedure conducted by the Company in accordance with the Federal Law on the Auditing Activity.

auditing annual accounting statements of Gazprom (parent company) pursuant to the requirements of the Russian legislation;
auditing annual consolidated accounting statements of Gazprom Group filed in accordance with the requirements of the Russian legislation;
auditing consolidated financial statements of Gazprom Group filed under the International Financial Reporting Standards.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit also serves as auditor for a range of large subsidiaries of Gazprom.
