PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS AUDIT APPROVED AS GAZPROM’S AUDITOR FOR 2006

In compliance with the Board of Directors’ recommendations, PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit has been approved by the Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting of Gazprom as the Company’s auditor for 2006.

auditing annual accounting statements of Gazprom (parent company) pursuant to the requirements of the Russian legislation
auditing annual consolidated accounting statements of Gazprom Group filed in accordance with the requirements of the Russian legislation
auditing consolidated financial statements of Gazprom Group filed under the International Financial Reporting Standards
