In 1985-1999 Elena Vasilyeva was Chief Accountant, Housing Administration Department, Deputy Chief Accountant, Central Accounting Office, Leningrad Seaport, and Central Accounting Office, Morskoy Port of St. Petersburg Open Joint Stock Company.
Elena A. Vasilyeva was Chief Accountant, Balttiiskaya Truboprovodnaya Sistema - BTS (Baltic Pipeline System), and Chief Accountant, BTS branch office, Verkhnevolzhskie Magistralnye Nefteprovody (Verkhnevolzhskie Oil Trunk Pipelines) from 1999 to 2001.
