Mikhail L. Sereda was born on May 9, 1970, in Klintsi, Bryansk Oblast. He graduated from St. Petersburg State Economics and Finance University in 1997.
Mr. Sereda was Senior Economist, Chief Economist, Credit Department, St. Petersburg Branch Office, Savings Bank of the Russian Federation from 1997 to 1999.
From 1999 to 2001 he was Deputy General Director, Finance, Balttiiskaya Truboprovodnaya Sistema - BTS (Baltic Pipeline System).
In 2001 was appointed Head, Gazprom Management Committee Administration.
Mikhail Sereda has been Member, Board of Directors, Gazprom, since 2002.
Since 28 september 2004 - Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee - Head of Administration of Gazprom’s Management Committee.
