Gazprom’s Representative office in the Republic of Belarus was established in Minsk on December 16, 1998.

The goal of the Representative Office is to protect and represent interests of Gazprom and Gazprom’s subsidiaries in the Republic of Belarus
Core business activities:
- Assistance in the International Cooperation Agreements implementation in the gas sector between the RF and the Republic of Belarus;
- Gazprom’s Cooperation effectiveness increase, governing bodies and Belarus companies on Russian gas supply and transit issues;
- Control of construction process of the Yamal-Europe Pipeline string on the territory of the Republic of Belarus;
- Research for investment opportunities and other business activities of Gazprom and Gazprom subsidiaries in the Republic of Belarus.
