GAS DISTRIBUTION STATIONS "SARATOV"
Gas distribution stations are intended to supply gas taken off from gas mains and branches under working pressure up to 8 MPa to settlements, industrial and agricultural facilities and individual gas consumers located in areas with a moderate climate.
Gas distribution stations (GDS) "Saratov" are produced in seven modifications with the capacity from 100 to 50000 m3/h and are used for supplying the natural gas to separate users from gas mains with pressure from 1.2 to 7.5 MPa.
The designed outlet pressure for users - 0.3 – 1.2 MPa and for own needs - 0.002 – 0.005 MPa is automatically kept with the given accuracy.
The stations "Saratov" work in the open air in districts with the seismicity equal to seismic force 8 and at the environment temperature from –40 to +50 of °С and the relative humidity (95±3)% at 35 °С.
GRS "Saratov" work in automatic regime and guarantee the carrying-out of the following MAIN FUNCTIONS:

AUTOMATIC GAS PRESSURE REDUCING STATION, TYPE RP-10
Automatic gas pressure reducing stations are used for supplying gas to specific industrial installations and other gas consumers.
Automatic gas pressure reducing stations can be operated in areas with mild and cold climate at ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +50 °C. The station is equipped with a gas heater.
The main functions:
- gas pressure reducing up to the designed level;
- pressure control;
- protection of reducing elements from the overpressure;
- supporting of the pressure gas nominal value in the designed limits.
RP has two independent lines, when one line gets out of order the other may be automatically switched on.
Automatic gas pressure reducing stations, type RP-10S, RP-10S-1 and RP-10SA, are delivered with an original heater maintaining constant temperature (45 - 60°C) in the gas pressure reducing cabinet during the ambient temperature variation from -40 °C to +50 °C, thus preventing formation of hydrates in gas pressure reducing.
There are 2 ways to deliver gas to gas consumption facilities:
1. Both lines are united in a single collector and through a single pipeline are connected with a gas consuming facility; in this case, gas flow rate varies from 1 m3/h to 90 m3/h (56 m3/h).
2. Each output line through a separate gas pipeline is independently connected with its gas consumer; in this case, gas flow rate varies from 1 m3/h to 45 m3/h (28 m3/h). Outlet pressure in each line can vary within the certified range, in accordance to the technical characteristic chart.

AUTONOMOUS POWER SUPPLIES
The autonomous power supplies AIP(T) are destined for supplying the electric power to users and work on gas and oil mains without standard sources of the electric power in remote districts. AIP are capable to work for a long time in any climatic zone without service.
Construction features:
The power unit completely mounted and tested in service conditions is a metal block-container inside which are installed:
- thermoelectric generators GTG-150;
- distributive board;
- information board;
- gas dosage block;
- voltage stabilization block;
- thermostatting system.
AIP are supplied with the reducing block RP-10.
The installation of thermoelectric generators GTG-150 in the warmth-keeping block-container made it possible to develop the autonomous power supplies AIPT, in which the extracted heat from fuel combustion is used as non-electric heating.
The original temperature control system, based on sampling regulation of air, heated in radiators GTG-150, and it’s mixing with the air, entering the container from the outside, allows to keep the given temperature inside the container from +10 to +45 0C with the environment temperature of –50 to +50 0C.
AIP is furnished with the control block for generators GTG-150, which serves: to limit the voltage, for automatic control of generators and also for remote command executions and output of discrete signals about generator’s work to the communication division.
The heat-insulated jacket in vandal-proof modification, the rational inside arrangement, the possibility of optimization of electric power supply from 150 to 1500 W, the application (on order) of voltage converter of supply 220 V of alternating current allow to create the ideal conditions for the uninterrupted work of GTG-150, radioelectronic equipment, communication devices and so on.
The main functions of the Autonomous Power Supplies:
The high reliability, the work without service, the absence of movable parts, the safety maintenance, the protective functions make the working expenses on gas and oil mains service considerably decrease.
Type AIP-150, AIP-300, AIP-450, AIP-750/AIP-750M, AIP-900, AIP-1500
Independent power supply units (IPSU) designed based on the GTG-150 thermo-electric generator are intended to supply DC to oil and gas facilities' radio-electronic instrumentation complex (REIC) if standard power supply mains are not available, while natural gas is available. IPSUs can reliably operate without maintenance in any climatic zone over a long time.

CATALYTIC THERMOELECTRICAL POWER INSTALLATIONS
The catalytic thermoelectric power installations (KATEU) with electric capacity of 180 to 1000 W are intended for use as the safe autonomous sources of the electric supply for linear telemechanics and automatics, communication system and cathodic protection of gas mains without service in any climatic zones, and also for domestic light and heating of industry objects.
Construction features:
KATEU (basic complete set) is a block-box of vandal-proof modification, inside which are installed:
- catalytic thermoelectric generators KATEG-90/24;
- voltage stabilization block BSN;
- switching and information boards;
- lighting system;
- fire alarm system;
- warning system about the unauthorized penetration inside the block-box.
KATEU are supplied with the reducing block RP-10.
The main work characteristic of the catalytic thermoelectric generators KATEG-90/24 as a part of KATEU, is the absence of the open fire. The heat temperature for thermoelectric modules is reached by means of the chemical oxidation reaction (catalysis) of gas-air mixture, which is going on in the closed space of the catalytic chamber of special construction, and the chemical reaction temperature of catalysis is considerably lower than the temperature of gas ignition.
KATEG consists of a case 1, in which the injector 2 is placed, through this injector the gas-air mixture is entering the catalytic chamber 3. The catalytic chamber is filled with the catalyst 4, where the catalysis process is going on. The extracted heat is supplied to thermoelectric batteries 5. The heat abstract is accomplished by radiators 6. KATEG has the equipment compartment 7, where the needed equipment is installed (the stabilizer, the ammeter, the voltmeter and so on).
KATEG use the natural gas out of gas mains and condensed gas (propane-butane) at the environment temperature of –40 to +50 °С.
The main features:
- the absence of the open fire and high reliability;
- simple actuation and service;
- long-life performance and absence of capital outlays during mounting and putting into operation.
