CHIEF ACTIVITIES:
SERVICE
1. Skilled extinguishing of open gushers and gassers (including burning hydrogen sulphide containing ones) on gas – oil wells with minimal losses and ecological damage and restoration of these wells for subsequent drilling and operation.
2. Regular maintenance and repair (scheduled and emergency one) of oil – gas wells under pressure performed by certified experts using special equipment designed and manufactured by "Gazobezopasnost" Company.
3. Creating of supplies of non-standard extinguishing equipment and its distribution by kits.
4. Preparation of Client objects and personnel to emergency actions on the rigsite under conditions of possible oil – gas ingress.
5. Working out of instructions and normative documentation regarding to prevention and elimination of accidents (including sea and hydrogen sulphide containing deposits).
6. Repair and restoration works (including gas dangerous works under pressure without well kill):
Comments: All rehabilitation / repair works are conducted using special tools and equipment created by "Gazobezopasnost" Company. Execution of rehabilitation / repair works can be assisted with engineering and design support.
7. Advising of well construction engineering and technique regarding blow out safety.
8. Definition of residual life for well head equipment that expired its operation term pointed in certificates.
9. Cleaning of vessels using independent breathing apparatuses.
10. Training of Client personnel regarding blow out safety.
11. Testing of new control heads and face equipment in Dosang Training Centre.
12. Carrying out of exercise for emergency teams of militarised units in respect of blow out prevention and elimination in Dosang Training Centre.

TRAINING
TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTRE "DOSANG"
INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Technical Training Centre Dosang has got an accreditation of examination centre of International Well Control Forum (IWCF) and is authorised to certify personnel by specialities "drill operator" and "supervisor" in accordance with IWCF requirements issuing international certificates.
ADVANCED TRAINING:
1. Training of engineering staff by course "Well control under conditions of blowout" – 70 hours.
2. Engineering staff training by course "Drilling of oil – gas wells on deposites with rich hydrogen sulphate content with extremely high formation pressure, drilling of ultradeep wells, shelf drilling specifics" (75 hours).
3. Driller’s training by course of "Well control under conditions of blow out" – 50 hours.
4. Training of drilling crews and well repair crews prior to tailing-in – 20 hours.
5. Training of first aid medical instructors using computer simulators manufactured in Netherlands.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING:
1. Drilling operators professional training for exploratory and production drilling of oil – gas wells (574 hours).
2. Drilling operators 5 & 6th grade professional training for well repair (493 hours).
3. Retraining of workers for "Assistant driller 3 – 4 th grade in production and exploratory drilling" profession (845 hours).
4. Assistant driller professional training for well repair (824 hours).
5. Training of derrick motor mechanics (657 hours).
6. Training of laboratory personnel that compile, test and maintain in permanent readiness gas protective and gas analysing equipment (128 hours).
7. Training for work in breathing apparatuses and for their maintenance (104 hours).
TECHNICAL BASE:
Learning teams 5 through 15 people. Foreign personnel is learnt in English. Training centre is situated on the banks of the river Akhtuba (confluent of the Volga) near city of Astrakhan. Students live in a hostel with air conditioning, canteen, sauna, billiard room, gym with trainers, recreation rooms with TV and video, tennis and volley-ball sites.
