On November 16, 1965 the Kubangazprom Production Association was created as part of the USSR Gas Industry Ministry. In 2007 Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar was established as a result of Kubangazprom restructuring. The company is the successor of Kubangazprom in gas transportation and key social issues.

Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar industrial facilities are located in the Krasnodar Territory, the Rostov Region and the Republic of Adygeya. The company runs a gas trunkline system with a length of over 8,000 kilometers, operates more than 350 gas distribution stations, 10 compressor stations and 24 CNG filling stations.
Kubanskaya compressor station
The Blue Stream gas trunkline is the prioritized industrial facility. At present, Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar operates 317 kilometers of the trunkline, including the unique Krasnodarskaya and Beregovaya compressor stations.

The company is primarily focused on the following activities:
- natural gas and gas condensate transportation via gas trunklines;
- on-line dispatch control over the operating modes of trunkline facilities;
- construction, overhaul and running repairs of trunkline facilities and equipment;
- operation of CNG filling stations, development of the regional gas supply system.
Krasnodarskaya compressor station
Specialized units of Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar constantly regulate the rates of air emissions, sewage discharges, production & consumption waste generation and disposal, as well as perform environmental control over the activities of branch offices. The company continuously monitors the environment along the route of the Blue Stream gas trunkline and the offshore part of the Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi gas pipeline.
The major environmental activities are aimed at mitigating man-made impacts (reducing air emissions, resoiling, arranging sites for waste gathering and storage, planting trees, etc.).
Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar is actively involved in environmental awareness activities not only for employees, but also for the regional population in general.
With a view to improve the environmental situation in the Southern Federal District, the company expands the use of natural gas as a motor fuel.

Great emphasis is placed on sports activities. Spartakiada Games and Children’s Spartakiada Games are held among the Company’s branch offices on an annual basis. The team of Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar takes part in the Spartakiada Games of Gazprom.
As part of the All-Russian Gazprom for Children Program, the company constructed and retrofitted 9 sports facilities in the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygeya.
