Krasnoyarskgazdobycha was set up on December 23, 2004 and later on renamed Gazprom Dobycha Krasnoyarsk. The main objectives of the company were implementation and development of Gazprom’s projects for the hydrocarbon feedstock base formation, gas fields development and gasification of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.
The company focused on exploration operations within 17 licensed blocks with a total area of 55 000 square kilometers: Sobinsky, Omorinsky, Beryambinsky, Taimbinsky, Tetersky, Chunsky, Biryusinsky, Arakansky, Yudokonsky, Troitsky, Karabulsky, Abakansky and others.
As a result of exploration activities, new hydrocarbon fields were discovered: Kamovskoye oil field and Abakanskoye gas field.
The company discovered a new gas condensate deposit in the Omorinskoye gas and condensate field and a number of new prospects. The Salairskaya area of the Omorinsky licensed block in Evenkia and the Imbinsky licensed block near Nizhny Priangarye reported commercial gas inflow.
As ordered by Gazprom’s Management Committee Chairman Alexey Miller, Gazprom dobycha Krasnoyarsk was renamed Gazprom Geologorazvedka in 2011 and became a subsidiary company responsible for arrangement and execution of geological exploration work in all of onshore and offshore licensed blocks owned by Gazprom and its subsidiary companies in the Russian Federation.
The decision to make Gazprom dobycha Krasnoyarsk a specialized company was taken on the basis of investigation and positive evaluation of the company’s experience in geological survey, implementation of technological solutions and optimization of geological exploration costs in poorly explored subsurface areas of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.
The company performs the following activities:
