Gazprom successfully develops the LNG (liquefied natural gas) sales and transportation segments. At present, the Company supplies LNG to more than ten countries – Japan, Korea, China, India, Taiwan, the UK, the USA, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico and others. Gazprom plans to broaden its presence in the promising markets, at first place, through increasing its own production.

Sakhalin II — Russia’s first LNG plant with the annual capacity of 9.6 million tons was built and came onstream in 2009.
Vladivostok LNG — the project has been at the investment stage since February 2013. An LNG plant with the annual capacity of 10 million tons (subject to further expansion) will be constructed near Vladivostok.
Baltic LNG. According to the project, it is planned to construct an LNG plant with the annual capacity of 10 million tons in the Leningrad Region.
LNG regasification terminal in the Kaliningrad Region. According to the project, it is planned to construct a terminal with the daily capacity of at least 9 million cubic meters of gas.
