Former Soviet Union

The key elements of Gazprom’s strategy for the former Soviet Union are maintaining the appeal of Russian gas to customers and expanding access to end consumers.

Gas supplies

In its cooperation with the countries of the former Soviet Union (FSU), Gazprom primarily seeks to secure natural gas supplies that could meet the needs of their economies.

In 2017, the Gazprom Group sold 35.0 billion cubic meters of gas in the FSU. The net revenue from those sales totaled RUB 292.8 billion (net of customs duties).
