Farit Gazizullin

Farit Gazizullin was born on September 20, 1946 in the town of Zelenodolsk, Tatar ASSR.

Education

He graduated from Gorky Institute of Water Transport Engineering majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Farit Gazizullin holds a PhD in Philosophy, he is Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor.

 

Professional experience

  1965–1969

Planning engineer, workshop floor manager and workshop manager at the Gorky Plant in Zelenodolsk.

Since 1967

Farit Gazizullin was involved in the activities of the Komsomol, Communist Party and Soviet Government bodies.

1987–1989

Head of the Economic and Social Development Department of the Tatar ASSR Council of Ministers.

  1989–1991

First Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Committee, Tatar ASSR.

  1991–1995

Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Property Committee, Republic of Tatarstan. 1996–1997

First Deputy Chairman of the State Property Committee, First Deputy State Property Minister, Russian Federation. 1997–2000

State Property Minister of the Russian Federation. 2000–2004 Property Relations Minister of the Russian Federation.

Since 1998 – Member of the Gazprom Board of Directors.
