Yaroslav Golko was born on August 22, 1961 in the village of Volitsy, Nesterov District, Lvov Oblast.

Education

Yaroslav Golko graduated from Plekhanov Leningrad Mining Institute and the University of Marxism-Leninism under the Leningrad Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

He has a PhD in Economics.

Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Technological Sciences.

Professional experience

Student at Plekhanov Leningrad Mining Institute. When studying at the Institute he simultaneously worked for various companies in Leningrad.

1986–1989

Employed at UNR-308 Spetstonnelstroy, Leningrad.

Deputy Chairman of the Vertikal housing cooperative.

Deputy Director for Construction, Director, Director General of Stiks state-owned small business corporation.
